- Diagnosis of any of the following anxiety disorders: F40.1: Social anxiety disorder/social phobia; F41.0
rung/social phobia; F41.0 Panic disorder with or without agoraphobia,
F41.1 generalized anxiety disorder
- sufficient proficiency in the German language
- average intellectual capacity (assessment during the
the telephone/video-based screening)
- sufficient time for weekly sessions and homework
- acceptance of the study protocol
- Participation (or planned in the next three months9in psychotherapeutic and/or psychological treatment or counselling, as well as participation in other psychological group services.
- Symptoms of major depression, bipolar affective disorder or mania (current as well as anamnestic), psychotic, schizophrenic and/or schizoaffective disorders, acute grief reaction, severe anorexia or bulimia, substance dependencies (alcohol, illicit drugs)
- severe personality disorders, especially borderline, narcissistic,
anti/dissocial and paranoid personality disorder
- acute suicidal tendencies
- Switch, dose change, or complete discontinuation of psychotropic drugs in the past or following three months
- lack of decision-making ability

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The study includes three measurement time points, a pre- and post-measurement and a follow-up after three months. <br>The following self-report questionnaires concerning anxiety are given at all three time points: Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI), Panic and Agoraphobia Scale (PAS), Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7 (GAD-7), Social Anxiety and Social Skills Deficits Questionnaire (SASKO), Anxiety Questionnaire (AF)/Fear Questionnaire (FQ), Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9), ICD-10- Symptom Rating (ISR) to assess general mental abnormality. <br><br>
