简要总结
This randomized controlled study evaluated the effect of an online awareness training program on nursing students' awareness of digital data security and their attitudes toward data management in digital health environments. Nursing students were randomly assigned to an intervention group or a control group. The intervention group received online training on digital health data security and data management, while the control group did not receive the training during the study period. Participants completed the Digital Data Security Awareness Scale and the Data Management in the Digital Health Environment Scale. The study aimed to determine whether the awareness training improved nursing students' digital data security awareness and attitudes toward data management in digital health environments.
详细描述
The study was conducted as a two-arm, randomized controlled educational intervention among undergraduate nursing students. Eligible students who voluntarily agreed to participate were randomly allocated to either the intervention group or the control group.
The intervention group received an online awareness training program addressing digital health, digital data security, protection and confidentiality of personal health data, secure data use and sharing, and responsible data management in digital health environments. The control group continued their usual nursing education and did not receive the awareness training during the study period.
Data were collected online using a sociodemographic characteristics form, the 32-item Digital Data Security Awareness Scale, and the 20-item Data Management in the Digital Health Environment Scale. Higher scores on the Digital Data Security Awareness Scale indicate greater awareness of digital data security. Higher scores on the Data Management in the Digital Health Environment Scale indicate more positive attitudes toward data management in digital health environments.
The study compared the intervention and control groups to determine the effect of the online awareness training on nursing students' digital data security awareness and attitudes toward data management in digital health environments.

结局指标
主要结局
Data Management in the Digital Health Environment Scale Total Score
时间窗: Immediately after completion of the online awareness training
Data management attitudes in digital health environments will be assessed using the 20-item Data Management in the Digital Health Environment Scale. The scale evaluates benefit and satisfaction, security, sharing, privacy, and use. Total scores range from 20 to 100, with higher scores indicating more positive attitudes toward data management in digital health environments.
Digital Data Security Awareness Scale Total Score
时间窗: Immediately after completion of the online awareness training
Digital data security awareness will be assessed using the 32-item Digital Data Security Awareness Scale. Each item is rated on a five-point Likert scale. Total scores range from 32 to 160, with higher scores indicating greater awareness of digital data security.
