•? For adults aged 19 years or older who underwent unilateral intramedullary fixation for intertrochanteric fracture of the femur
•? According to AO/OTA fracture classification, 31A 2-3 fracture
•? Patients who can comply and cooperate with functional and radiological evaluation after surgery
•? Patients who have the will and ability to follow the doctor's instructions, including rehabilitation treatment such as walking exercise after surgery
•? A patient who understands the study and consents in writing to the patient or his/her representative to participate in the study

•? Patients unable to walk and function normally due to Parkinson's or severe dementia
•? Patients with neurological sequelae due to cerebral infarction in the lower extremity of the surgical site
•? In case of previous local infection, sepsis, or venous thrombosis in the lower extremity of the surgical site
•? Patients who were unable to walk independently before fracture
•? Patients under the age of 18
•? Patient with a history of previous surgery on the hip joint
•? Patients who cannot follow up after surgery or visit an outpatient clinic
