Inclusion Criteria
All patients undergoing laparoscopic liver resection in the posterosuperior segments from April 2018 to October 2022 at the Department of Surgery, University Medical Center Mannheim.
Exclusion Criteria
All patients who do not meet the inclusion criteria.

Name Time Method Clinically relevant postoperative complications (Clavien-Dindo=III)
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Age, sex, BMI, and ASA status classification, diabetes mellitus, smoking status, indication for surgery (benign vs. malignant), history of previous abdominal surgery and/or hepatic resection.<br>Preoperative laboratory tests. <br>In case of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), the etiology e.g. alcohol, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, autoimmune and viral.<br>Operating time (min), total blood loss (mL), extent of resection, postoperative morbidity and mortality, pathological characteristics as well as postoperative length of hospital stay (LOS).
