1. People who had a health inspection at our center were surveyed. The health inspection included upper endoscopy, a serum anti-H. pylori IgG assay, and a self-reporting questionnaire.
1. Under the age of 17
2. Post-operative stomach
3. Adenoma or carcinoma on upper GI tract
4. Cases where it could not be determined whether the subject is infected with H. pylori
5. Subjects who did not properly answer the questionnaires
6. Proton pump inhibitor or histamine 2 receptor antagonist users
7. Subjects who had been diagnosed with functional dyspepsia
8. Scarring stage of the ulcer
