Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1. Parents willing to give consent for inclusion in study.
- •2. Patients aged between 6 and 18 years.
- •3. American society of anaesthesiology(ASA) physical status I or II.
- •4. Undergoing posterior spine fusion and instrumentation
Exclusion Criteria
- •1. Parental refusal to participate in the study.
- •2. Patient with a cobbââ?¬•s angle >110Ã?°.
- •3. Patient with known severe lung disease.
- •4. Patient with history of previous thoracic surgery.
- •5. Patient undergoing anterior release/ growth rod insertion/ revision surgery for scoliosis.
- •6. Intra-operative massive blood loss [defined by blood loss >40ml/kg] or massive transfusion[ >8 unit of PRBC transfusion during surgery]
