Inclusion Criteria
1. Age between 18 to 60 years with non-gender specific participants
2. Systemically healthy patient
3. Patients suffering from generalized chronic periodontitis with = 30% of the sites showing = 4.0 mm of clinical attachment loss
4. Patients with at least 20 remaining teeth
5. Willing to comply with the study related procedures
Exclusion Criteria
1. Chronic Smokers
2. Pregnant and Lactating women
3. Patients with any history of systemic diseases/conditions e.g. uncontrolled DM, chronic rheumatoid arthritis, steroid therapy, autoimmune diseases etc
4. Patient who have received treatment for periodontitis in the last 6 months
5. Patients on antibiotic therapy from past 1 month
6. Unwilling to participate in the study
