1. Healthy male or female aged 30-60 years
2. Having any type of facial skin (normal, dry, oily or combination)
3. Having clear visible melasma, freckles and dark spots on facial skin*.
4. Having history of using counter brand facial skin care
5. Be able to read, communicate and writing Thai language
6. Willing to stop using other anti-melasma, anti-freckle and anti-dark spots products. Other routine skin care products without mentioned properties were allowed. Changing any skin care product during the study period was not acceptable.
7. Willing to participate in the study after be informed the study objectives, methodology, possible risks and results.
Note: *The difference on Maxameter melanin index between blemish area and normal area was 20-120
1. Having history of hyperallergic reaction to the composition in anti-melasma, anti-freckle and anti-dark spots products
2. History of skin eczema or psoriasis at any part of body within 6 months before entering the study
3. History of using steroid, antibiotic, oral Tranexamic acid, NSAIDs and antihistamine within 3 days before entering the study
4. History of using topical medicine on facial area within 3 weeks before entering the study
5. Having chronic diseases and continuous taking medicines or applying topical drug for facial skin treatment
6. History of major operation within 1 year before entering the study.
7. History of skin cancer at any parts of body within 1 year before entering the study.
8. Pregnancy or lactation
9. Having wound or scar on the evaluation areas of the face
10. History of regular smoker or regular drinking alcohol
(Definitions: 1. Regular smoker means smoking everyday at least 1 cigarette per day. 2. Regular drinking means drinking alcohol everyday at least 1 cup or around 250 ml per day)
11. History of participating or ongoing testing in other clinical studies of CosNat which were tested on the face within last 3 months (since the last day of the previous study to the volunteer selection date of this study)
