Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •All consecutive patients of age \>18 years with clinicaland radiological diagnosis of acute appendicitis will be included in study
Exclusion Criteria
- •Intraoperatively patients having other pathology other than
- •appendicitis like, pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), ovarian cysts
- •Patients with heart failure, hematological disease, cancer, chronic
- •infectious disease, liver disease, vascular disease, infections or
- •inflammatory disease and patients who are taking medications
- •that can affect platelet count and volume.
