Inclusion Criteria

Mothers who gave birth to a healthy child within the last 3-4 month and report problems in bonding with the child.
Depressive symptoms are not an exclusion criteria.

Healthy controls:
Mentally healthy mothers who gave birth to a healthy child within the last 3-4 month and report good bonding with the child

Fathers of the participating infants who give informed content.

Exclusion Criteria

acute suicidality,
bipolare disorder,
schizophrenia,
dementia,
substance abuse or dependency,
MRI-contraindications

F. Brockington, Aucamp, & Fraser, 2006), Attachment Style Interview (Bifulco, Moran, Ball, & Bernazzani, 2002), Postpartum Bonding Questionnaire (PBQ-R; Reck et al., 2006), Parental Self Confidence Scale (LMSCS; Lips & Bloom, 1993), Infant Behavior Questionnaire (IBQ; Pauli-Pott, Mertesacker, & Beckmann, 2003)
