Inclusion Criteria

1. Individuals with paraplegia as a result of traumatic spinal cord injury (Level T2-T12).

2. Individuals able to independently execute sitting pivot transfer between the two surfaces.

3. ASIA grade A, B, C.

4. At least 2 and half months post rehabilitation.

5. Age group of 18-60 years, both genders.

6. Individuals using wheelchair for their functional mobility tasks.

7. Appropriate hamstring extensibility i.e. greater than 30 degrees loss of passive knee extension when femur is held at 90 degrees of hip flexion.

Exclusion Criteria

1. Individuals with degenerative spinal cord diseases.

2. Individuals who are symptomatic for shoulder pain.

3. Individuals with head injuries or neurological deficits associated with movement disorders affecting perception.

4. Unstable spine, recent fractures of lower limb.

5. Individuals with pressure sores (grade 3,4) in the region of sacrum, greater trochanter and ankle area.

Surface electromyographic analysis of anterior deltoid, pectoralis major, latissimus dorsi and serratus anterior during sitting pivot transfer in both dominant and trailing arm using Delsys Trigno wireless EMG.Timepoint: Measures will be taken at a single point in time at least 2 and half months post injury rehabilitation.
