- •(1) Beta-thalassemia/Hb E
- •(2) Hemoglobin concentration 5-9 g/dl and serum ferritin level >= 600 ng/ml
排除标准
- •(1) Lactation or pregnancy
- •(2) Receiving blood transfusion within three months prior to the enrollment
- •(3) Receiving medications for thalassemia apart from folic acid during one month before the enrollment
