Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. New pulmonary and extra pulmonary adult TB patients attending Kasturba Hospital, Manipal.
- •2\. Microbiologically confirmed cases
- •3\. The suspected cases in which the physician decides to initiate antituberculosis drugs empirically.
- •4\. Patients referred from outside hospitals who have started their Anti tuberculosis treatment within last 1 month
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Age less than 18 years
- •2\. Patients who refuse to give consent
- •3\. MDR, XDR tuberculosis
- •4\. Patients who are already on ATT for more than 1 month
