Inclusion Criteria
1. New pulmonary and extra pulmonary adult TB patients attending Kasturba Hospital, Manipal.
2. Microbiologically confirmed cases
3. The suspected cases in which the physician decides to initiate antituberculosis drugs empirically.
4. Patients referred from outside hospitals who have started their Anti tuberculosis treatment within last 1 month
Exclusion Criteria
1. Age less than 18 years
2. Patients who refuse to give consent
3. MDR, XDR tuberculosis
4. Patients who are already on ATT for more than 1 month
