Inclusion Criteria

1. All age and gender patients who are diagnosed with epilepsy.

2. Patients with epilepsy are examined by diagnostics protocol (seizure semiology, clinical investigation & EEG findings).

3. The AEDs must be selected based on the seizure and epilepsy types, the epilepsy syndrome, and the adverse effects associated with the drug (ILAE 2017).

4. Patients who are diagnosed with refractory epilepsy as a case, with diagnostic protocol.

5. Patients who are confirmed with drug-responsive epilepsy as control.
