Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Patient aged 18 years and above presenting to the Emergency department who are to receive intramuscular injection Td 0\.5ml over the deltoid region.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Cognitive impairment
  • •Hearing, vision loss or sensory motor loss
  • •Patient with peripheral nerve injuries
  • •Patients on analgesics or sedatives with central and peripheral effects
  • •Patients with multiple injuries/ severe trauma.
  • •Patients experiencing alterations in consciousness
  • •Patients with infection or injury at the site of injection
  • •Patients who received a previous intramuscular injection within the last 24 hours
  • •Patient who declined to give consent for th
