Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Acute anal fissure with complaints \<6 weeks
  • •Age group \> 18 year

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Patient with chronic anal fissure.
  • •Patient with multiple fissures.
  • •Patients already on topical treatment.
  • •Patient with internal haemorrhoid except grade 1\.
  • •Patients with perianal fistula \& abscess.
  • •Patients with inflammatory bowel disease.
  • •Patients with immune deficiency; receiving oral immunosuppressive drugs or steroids.
  • •Patients with anal stenosis.
  • •Patients on oral anti\-coagulants, or having ischemic heart disease.
  • •Pregnant females.
