Inclusion Criteria

1.Non-growing patients (below 45 years old)
2.Healthy status (American Society of Anesthesiologist (ASA) Class I )
3.Undergoing orthognathic surgery using BSSO technique

Exclusion Criteria

1.History of allergy to medications used in this study
2.History of maxillofacial trauma
3.History of neurosensory disturbance of mandible area
4.History of any neurodegenerative diseases
5.Currently receiving any kind of herbs and supplements
6.Being unable to attend follow-up appointments
