Evaluation of the effect of implementing follow-up care model on self-efficacy and readmission due to infection in patients with pemphigus vulgaris.

Phase 4
Conditions
Because nurses play an important role in the care of pemphigus patients, and given the inherent complexities of today&#039
s health care system, it is the nurses&#039
challenge to demonstrate their interdisciplinary competence. Skin problems are one of the most common problems that nurses face. Pemphigus is a chronic and resistant disease that affects the self-efficacy of the patient&#039
s life. Patients, on the other hand, find the disease to be significantly more crippling than what doctors say. The most important clinical goal in chronic diseases such as pemphigus is to increase self-efficacy and prevent infection and hospitalization. Nurses, as the largest professional group in the health care system, can provide follow-up treatment, reduce the number and frequency of hospitalizations, as well as reduce treatment and hospital costs
