Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •All patients above 18 years of age within chosen time\-period admitted for elective surgeries under general anaesthesia. ASA class 1, 2 and 3\.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patients who refuse consent
- •Patients undergoing surgeries of the head and neck, nose and throat.
- •Patients complaining of sore throat, cough or hoarseness of voice prior to surgery.
- •Patients with history of recent upper respiratory tract infection less than two weeks
- •Pregnant women
