- - To predict the incidence of emergence delirium in children using PAEDIATRIC scale and FACES scale
Overview
Brief Summary
This is a cross sectional study of emergence delirium in paediatric patients undergoing elective surgery in a tertiary care centre Chengelpet district over a period of 18 months .
Primary objective of the study is to predict the prevalence of emergence delirium in children using PAED scale and FACES scale
Secondary objective of the study is to study the incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting

Inclusion Criteria
- •Both male and female children of age 3 -18 years belonging to ASA grade 1&2,posted for GA.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patients with ASA grade 1 Patients with lower respiratory tract infection Patients with CNS abnormalities and congenital abnormalities Mentally challenged.

Primary Outcomes
- To predict the incidence of emergence delirium in children using PAEDIATRIC scale and FACES scale
Time Frame: Post operatively
Secondary Outcomes
- - To study the incidence of post operative nausea and vomiting(Post operatively)
