入排标准
入选标准
- •1. ASA 1, 2 and 3
- •2. Patients requiring general anaesthesia (induction with propofol) followed by endotracheal intubation for elective surgeries.
排除标准
- •1. patients with unstable angina, tight valvular lesions, and ejection fraction < 40% or suffering from other cardiac comorbidities.
- •2. Patients suffering from uncontrolled hypertension
- •3. Patients with uncompensated respiratory disease such as generalised wheezes, defective functional capacity, peripheral O2 saturation < 90% on room air)
- •4. Patients with high intraabdominal pressure compressing IVC)
- •5. Patients with anticipated difficult airway
- •6. Patients taking medications like ACE inhibitors
- •7. Patients with major peripheral vascular disease, severe vascular disease, autonomic nervous system disorders
- •8. patients with implanted pacemaker/cardioverter insitu or with mental incompetence.
