Inclusion Criteria
- •Patients undergoing elective minimally invasive cardiac surgeries
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Patient refusal.
- •2\. Allergy to local anesthetics.
- •3\. Localized infection.
- •4\. Coagulopathy / Bleeding diathesis
- •5\. Patients on anticoagulants
- •6\. Pre\-existing lung injury/disease/ pneumothorax
- •7\. Spinal /chest wall deformities
- •8\. Pre\-existing rib fractures in the posterior /lateral aspect 9\. Cognitive impairment or an active psychiatric condition. 10\. Inability to understand pain scoring.
- •11\. Emergency surgery
- •12 Redo surgery
