Inclusion Criteria

1- Patients between ages of 16 to 45 years

2- Patients or their parents (in minor cases) willing to participate in the trial

3- Patients having symptoms of Khalitya as mentioned in classical texts

Exclusion Criteria

1- Patients below age of 16 years and above 45 years

2- Patients with diagnosis of local diseases like Alopecia totalis, Tinea capitis, Folliculitis decalvans etc

3- Patients with hereditary history of baldness or traumatic hair loss

Patients suffering from any severe systemic disease, mental disorders, thyroid dysfunction, pregnant women etc will be excluded

4- More than 75% hair loss

5- Hair fall due to exposure to chemotherapy or any radiation therapy, post CA treatment

The below mentioned criteria are graded as 0 1 2 3 on the basis of severity explained by the patient on history taking during trial & will be assessed during the trial- <br/ ><br>Keshpatana (Pattern & number of hair loss) <br/ ><br>Darunaka (Dandruff) <br/ ><br>Shirahkamdu (Itching on scalp) <br/ ><br>Kesh tanutva (Thinning of hair) <br/ ><br>Kesh rukshta (Dryness of hair) <br/ ><br>Kesh bhoomi sweda (Sweating on scalp)Timepoint: The observation of patients will be carried out during the trial at 15 days interval for 2 months & after completion of trial follow up will be done done upto one month at 15 days interval
