Inclusion Criteria
1)Patients having painful defecation and stool passed are hard and dry
2)Patients in age group of 02 to 12 years
3)Patients of both sexes
Exclusion Criteria
1)Patients below 02 years
2)Patients above 12 years
3)Patients’ parent/guardian who fail to give consent
4)Patients who fail to follow up
5)Known cases of organic constipation eg. Constipation due to metabolic disorders, anorectal abnormalities, Hirschsprung’s disease etc.
6)Patients exhibiting associated signs of abdominal distension, vomiting, fever or occult blood in stool
7)Mental impairment
