Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Age ≥ 18 years
  • 2\. Acetabular fractures that were considered preoperatively to be fully treated through an intrapelvic approach
  • 2\.1anterior column fractures
  • 2\.2 anterior wall fractures
  • 2\.3 anterior column with posterior hemitransverse fractures
  • 2\.4 transverse fractures
  • 2\.5 T\-shaped fractures
  • both column fractures

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Preexisting ipsilateral hip diseases
  • 2\. Fractures needed fixation via Kocher\- Langenbeck approach: posterior column fractures
  • 3\.posterior wall fractures
  • 4\.Bilateral acetabular fracture
  • 5\.Time from injury to operation \> 14 days
  • 6\. BMI \> 30 kg/m2
