1.Patients with grade 2 to grade 4 atrophic acne scars, classified on the basis of Goodmanâ??s Qualitative classification.
2. Should not have undergone any surgical and/or laser treatment for acne scars in the past 1 year.
1.Active acne
2. History of keloidal tendency/hypertrophic or keloidal scarring on the face due to acne
3.Facial scars due to reasons other than acne like varicella, trauma, burns etc
4.Collagen vascular disease, bleeding disorders
5.Any active bacterial , fungal or viral infection over face
6.Pregnant and lactating females
7.Known hypersensitivity to tazarotene
8.Age less than 18 years
9.Patients on anticoagulant therapy or aspirin
10.Patients with unrealistic expectation
