Patients of all age groups presenting with sub-axial spinal cord injury with neurogenic shock
1) Presence of other factors contributing to shock (hypovolemic, septic, distributive), till appropriate correction
2) Co-morbidities like diabetes mellitus, hypertension, coronary artery disease, COPD, Asthma, endocrine abnormalities, congenital disorders, epilepsy, neurological conditions
3) Patient under the influence of drugs/alcohol intoxication etc..
4) Pregnancy
5) Loss of skin at the site of electrode application
6) Associated other system injuries– (till addressed – example: Pneumothorax- till ICD insertion and lung expansion, etc.)
7) Presence of other implants – pacemakers, cochlear implants etc…
