1 Known and newly diagnosed cases of Juvenile diabetes.
2 Age group: 2 to 18 year age, of either sex.
3 The patients having classical signs and symptoms of Jataja Prameha like Prabhut Aavil Mutrata, Kshudha adhikya, Pipasa adhikya etc will be selected.
4 Patients who will fulfill the diagnostic criteria of Juvenile Diabetes like FBS > 126 mg/dl, PPBS > 200 mg/dl, HbA1c > 6.5%
1 Children below 2 years and above 18 years of age.
2 Children who have poor glycemic control in the range even with the use of insulin.
3 Children with tendency to have recurrent DKA (Diabetic Keto Acidosis).
4 Children with complications of disease like Diabetic foot etc.
5 Children with increased cholesterol level.
6 Children with other infectious diseases such as TB etc. immune-compromised children, HbsAg, other metabolic diseases/errors, endocrine diseases, genetic anomalies.
