Inclusion Criteria

The patients presenting with signs and symptoms of Praklinnavartma and Aklinnavartma (Squamous Blepharitis) will be included in the study irrespective of religion, caste and occupation.

Symptoms: Whitish material at the lid margin with mild discomfort, irritation,falling of eyelashes, itching, madarosis, foreign body sensation, and burning sensation.

Signs: White dandruff like scales on the lid margin and among the lashes. In long standing cases lid margin became thicken.

Exclusion Criteria

i.Patients aged below 18 years and above 60 years.

ii.Patients having diseases like Corneal Ulcer, Ectropion, Entropion, Trichiasis, Dacryocystitis, Dry Eye, Lagophthalmous, Acute & chronic infective conjunctivitis will be excluded from the study. Patients suffering from specific eyelid disorders like Tumor, Carcinoma or systemic diseases like Diabetes and Bleeding disorders will be excluded from the study.
