Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Patients performing one spinal level OLIF surgery.
- •age 20 to 75 years old
- •American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status of 1–3
Exclusion Criteria
- •Previous spinal surgery
- •Bleeding tendency or anticoagulation
- •Allergic reaction to the contrast agent
- •Allergic reaction to the local anesthetic agent
- •Chronic usage of narcotic painkillers
- •Functional conditions that are unable to walk due to paralysis of the lower extremities
- •Impossible to assess pain due to communication difficulties
- •If the patient refuses or does not agree to participate
- •Severe liver disease, kidney disease, arrhythmia patients (risks for using ropivacaine)
