•Patients diagnosed with schizophrenia
•Education: 5 years and above
•Adequate visual and hearing ability
•Patient cooperative for assessment
1. History of substance dependence (other than nicotine dependence), epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, or other neurological disorders
2. Co-morbid intellectual disability based on case records/ History of developmental delays
3. Currently undergoing or had undergone any form of cognitive remediation in the last six months
4. Received electro-convulsive therapy in the last three months

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The study is intended to assess the effect of cognitive remediation on cognitive functions (such as attention and memory) measured through neuropsychological assessment and EEG-based event-related potentials. Therefore, the primary outcome variable is change in neurocognitive functions due to cognitive remediation carried out in patientâ??s home setting with the help of a caregiver.Timepoint: The patients will be evaluated at three levels pre-intervention, post-intervention, and a follow-up (after 8 weeks post-intervention).
