- •For group 1
- •Patients having mandagni according to Agni-bala assessment questionnaire
- •For group 2
- •Patients having mandagni and having three or more following conditions present for enrollment According to the NCEP ATP III definition
- •waist circumference over 40 inches (men) or 35 inches (women)
- •blood pressure over 130/85 mmHg
- •fasting triglyceride (TG) level over 150 mg/dl
- •fasting high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol level less than 40 mg/dl (men) or 50 mg/dl (women)
- •fasting blood sugar over 100 mg/dl
排除标准
- •Individuals having teekshna, vishama or samagni.
- •Currently pregnant or post-partum state or lactating women.
- •Cancer patients
- •Chronic kidney failure
- •Any surgical intervention in the past 6 months
