1)Age 30-60 years
2) > 20 teeth present
3) > 10% of teeth with probing depth of >=5mm
4)Bleeding on probing
5)The diagnosis of Acute myocardial infarction subjects (Diagnosed by Cardiologist) will be selected based on Sinus tachycardia, fourth heart sound and increased jugular venous pressure and Electrocardiographic (ECG) changes with deep Q wave, tall and pointed T wave and ST segment elevation.
1)aggressive periodontitis
2)bleeding disorders
3)a gross oral pathology (cysts and tumors)
4)pregnancy and lactation
5)diseases of the immune system or systemic diseases such as respiratory infections, rheumatoid arthritis and diabetes
6)patients who took medications that affected their periodontal status, and
7)patients who received periodontal therapy in the preceding 6 months were excluded from the study.
