ASA grade I, II and III, Surgical procedures â?? general surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, plastic
surgery
Exclusion Criteria
ASA grade IV and V, Allergic to local anesthetics, Presence of upper respiratory tract infection, Surgeries involving upper airway and lasting for more than 3 hours, Anticipated difficult airway preoperatively, More than one attempt of intubation, History of smoking

Name Time Method To determine and compare the effect of topical application of 0.1% triamcinolone acetonide paste and 2% lignocaine gel to attenuate the incidence of post-operative pharyngolaryngeal complication.Timepoint: At the time of extubation, at 5 min, 10 min, 30 min, 1 hour, 6 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours after extubation.
