Inclusion Criteria
1.Patients scheduled to receive general anaesthesia.
2.Age >= 18 years.
3.Apparently normal mental status.
4.Ability to give informed consent.
Exclusion Criteria
1.Age < 18 years.
2.Patients undergoing obstetric, cardiac or intracranial surgery.
3.Altered mental status.
4.Patients unable to communicate.
5.Patients who were not expected to survive.
6.Patients transferred directly to ICU.
