Inclusion Criteria

Adolescent girl who attained menarche

Adolescent girl aged 12 years to 19 years having any of the Artavakshaya Lakshana like Yathochita Kala Adarshanam (Irregular Menstruation), Alpata (scanty menses) and Yonivedana (painful menses)

Quantity of menstruation less than normal (which will be decided on basis of number of pad used per day)

The duration of menstrual flow is 2 days or less

If interval between two cycle exceeds more than 35 days

Hb% >=7gm%

Parents or caretaker willing to participate their girls in the clinical trial

Note: Adolescent girl with the evidence of helminthiasis, GI tract diseases will be included after clearing the same

Exclusion Criteria

Adolescent girl who do not attain menarche

Adolescent girl aged <12 year and > 19 years

Adolescent girl having Overweight: >+1SD (BMI > 25-30 kg/m2 and Obesity: >+2SD (BMI >30 kg/m2)

Hb% <7gm%

Adolescent girl having systemic disorders like Tuberculosis, DM type 1, Hypothyroidism, psychological illness, etc.
