Brief Summary

This is single group clinical study , open label to evaluate the combined effect of yapana basti and vayasthapaka ghan vati on menopausal syndrome. The primary outcome to improve sign & symptoms described in MRS Scale in menopausal syndrome and laboratory investigations HB,TLC,DLC,ESR ,URINE R & M.  Vayasthapaka ghan vati acts as antioxidant, free radical scavenging, cytoprotective, immunomodulatory,adaptogenic, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-aging, neuroprotective. yapana basti is  used for healthy, diseased andelderly persons. This  basti perform dualfuction of both Anuvasana and Niruha; hense this is *Srotoshodhaka* and *Brimhana*at the same time.

Inclusion Criteria

• 1.Willingness of patients.
• 2.Upto 10 years after establishment of menopause.
• 3.Women having clinical features of menopausal syndrome along with psychological disturbances which are present in Menopausal rating scale (MRS Scale) are included.
• 4.Women with surgical menopause (i.e. after hysterectomy) are included.

Exclusion Criteria

• 1.Patients suffering from any acute and chronic illness.
• 2.Patients on treatment with HRT or other estrogenic drugs were excluded.
• 3.Patients with poorly controlled DM and HTN (>160/100 mm of Hg) were excluded.
• 4.Symptomatic patients with clinical evidence of Heart disease.
• 5.Patients with diagnose case of Malignancy.
