Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Patients of 18â??70 years with the ASA Class Iâ??IV underwent elective surgery requiring general anaesthesia with direct laryngoscopy (Macintosh blade) and endotracheal intubation

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Head and neck anatomical pathology
  • •2\.Small mouth opening \< 3\.0cm
  • •3\.Limitation in head and neck flexion or extension
  • •4\.Previous history of failed and difficult intubation
  • •Pregnancy and a body mass index (BMI) of \>39\.9 kg/m2
