1. Persistent GI symptoms (dyspepsia, bloating, pain abdomen, diarrhoea, constipation etc.)
2. Negative serum anti-transglutaminase (anti-TTg)
3. Negative wheat specific IgE Antibody
4. Normal duodenal biopsy (except increase of intraepithelial lymphocytes (Marsh I) or eosinophilia)
1. Presence of other disease that can explain persistent GI symptoms (celiac disease, wheat allergy, irritable bowel syndrome, lactose intolerance, diabetes mellitus, hypercalcemia, thyroid disease, biliary/pancreatic causes, H. pylori infection etc.)
2. Patients on self GFD
3. Use of certain medications leading to dyspeptic symptoms
4. Previous history of any GI surgery/GI disorder
5. Major psychiatric disorder
6. Patients who refuse to comply with the study protocol
