Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Patients (at least 18 years of age) who are currently hospitalised or have been hospitalised in the last 12 months with a potentially palliative progression of their illness and their relatives will be included. Patients with oncological and non\-oncological diseases such as organ insufficiencies, degenerative neurological diseases are included if they have sufficient physical and mental capacity to participate. The participating patients should not (yet) be in a specific palliative or hospice care situation in order to be able the prospective evaluation of different scenarios. After having received detailed information about the type, content and purpose of the study and their participation, patients and/or their relatives sign a written agreement on their participation. Individuals of all genders (f/m/d) and ethnic backgrounds may participate in the study.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Exclusion criteria are (1\) patients in a palliative or hospice care situation and their relatives, (2\) insufficient German language proficiency to complete the questionnaire (Discrete Choice Experiment) and/or (3\) no consent to participate in the study.
