Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\) Parturients with nonsevere preeclampsia posted for elective and emergency caesarean section.
  • •2\) Parturients belonging to ASA grade II and III
  • •3\) Parturients who are willing to give informed informed consent.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\) Parturients with complicated obstetric history
  • •2\)Parturients with cardiovascular or cerebrovascular disease.
  • •3\)Parturients with impending eclampsia and eclampsia
  • •4\)Parturients on Magnesium sulphate
  • •5\) Parturients with more than 750 ml intraoperative blood loss
  • •6\)height less than 150cm and BMI more than 35
  • •7\) Parturients requiring more than 10 units oxytocin or other additional uterotonic drugs
