  • Type 1 Diabetes
  • Current basal-bolus insulin therapy
  • HbA1c < 10%
  • BMI < 32 kg/m2

  • Proliferative Retinopathy / Maculopathy
  • Recurrent major hypoglycaemias
  • Impaired hepatic or renal function
  • Cardiac Problems
  • Uncontrolled hypertension
