Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Systemically healthy patients.
  • •2\.The patients had to have at least four teeth with a probing depth of \>\= 5 mm.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Patients with known systemic diseases.
  • •2\.Allergy to toluidine blue.
  • •3\.Patient who underwent treatment with antibiotics within the last 6 months.
  • •4\.Patient who underwent treatment with anti\-inflammatory drug within the last three months.
  • •5\.Patient undergoing orthodontic treatment.
  • •6\.Patient who underwent periodontal therapy within the last six months.
  • •7\.Pregnancy
