Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Patients with diagnosis of Chronic kidney disease (CKD) not on dialysis, visiting Nephrology OPD at Dr.RMLIMS
- •2\. Period of OPD follow\-up \> 6 months in the Dept of Nephrology
- •3\. At least one dietician visit in the last year
- •All three must be fulfilled for inclusion in the study
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Not providing informed consent
- •2\. Intervening hospitalization in the last 3 months (which might change dietary patterns)
- •3\. Mental retardation and/or other alterations in behaviour/sensorium due to which the patient is caregiver dependent (such as uremic encephalopathy, cerebrovascular accidents and dementia, etc)
- •4\. Gastrointestinal disturbances precluding usual diet intake
