1. Patients with diagnosis of Chronic kidney disease (CKD) not on dialysis, visiting Nephrology OPD at Dr.RMLIMS
2. Period of OPD follow-up > 6 months in the Dept of Nephrology
3. At least one dietician visit in the last year
All three must be fulfilled for inclusion in the study
1. Not providing informed consent
2. Intervening hospitalization in the last 3 months (which might change dietary patterns)
3. Mental retardation and/or other alterations in behaviour/sensorium due to which the patient is caregiver dependent (such as uremic encephalopathy, cerebrovascular accidents and dementia, etc)
4. Gastrointestinal disturbances precluding usual diet intake
