Inclusion Criteria
1. any of the following underlying diseases: Ulcerative colitis, indeterminate colitis, Crohn's disease, familial adenomatosis coli, slow transit obstipation.
2. indication for proctocolectomy with ileoanal pouching, if necessary, given by specialist physician
3. patients 18 years and older
Exclusion Criteria
Adults incapable of consent

Name Time Method This is a non-interventional study with the aim of establishing a database. On the basis of the acquired database, a continuous quality control of the treatment can be performed. In addition, changes in therapy can be evaluated in a timely manner, e.g. through adjustments in the guideline.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Scientific questions can be answered. In addition, the study can be used as a data basis for case number calculation for prospective randomized studies.<br>Structured questionnaires to assess the quality of life are also used to monitor the patients' progress.<br>
