Inclusion Criteria

All athletes should be asymptomatic at the shoulder joint without any history of pain or dysfunction at the shoulder or neck. Also, they should be competitive athletes, which is defined as the athlete who will be actively competing as a volleyball player, during the study measurements, at least three times per week during the last 5 years (Ozunlu et al., 2011; Papandreou et al., 2018). Asymptomatic athletes is defined as athletes who have no history of shoulder pain or shoulder pathology in either side, in the entire shoulder region(Hong et al., 2011).

Exclusion Criteria

The exclusion criteria will be the lack of SD or difficulty identifying the presence of SD; signs of shoulder impingement when examined with the Neers, Jobes and Hawkins-Kennedy tests and/or instability when examined with the anterior drawer test; presence of a painful arc and pain during passive or active external rotation. Also, further exclusion criteria wiil be the history of surgery or fracture in the shoulder, low back or extremities, pain within the last 6 months in the same areas or the presence of any neurological condition.
