Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Patients undergoing elective short durational surgeries ( TURP, DJ Stenting, URSL, Perianal abscess, Gluteal abscess, LAS )
  • American Society of Anaesthesiologist I or II
  • Patient willing for regional anaesthesia and fear of general anaesthesia

Exclusion Criteria

  • Patient refusal for spinal anaesthesia
  • Coagulopathy or bleeding diathesis
  • Infection at the site of injection
  • Pre existing neurological deficit
  • Severe hypovolemia
  • Chronic renal disorder ( hypervolemia, acidosis, hypernatremia )
