Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Patients undergoing elective short durational surgeries ( TURP, DJ Stenting, URSL, Perianal abscess, Gluteal abscess, LAS )
  • •American Society of Anaesthesiologist I or II
  • •Patient willing for regional anaesthesia and fear of general anaesthesia

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Patient refusal for spinal anaesthesia
  • •Coagulopathy or bleeding diathesis
  • •Infection at the site of injection
  • •Pre existing neurological deficit
  • •Severe hypovolemia
  • •Chronic renal disorder ( hypervolemia, acidosis, hypernatremia )
