Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation(tDCS) machine is entirely non-invasive and very safe, which delivers 2mA of direct current to the brain, which may leads to improvement in symptoms of OCD in patient with treatment resistant Obsessive Compulsive Disorder(OCD).

Brief Summary

Primary Purpose:-Only 40-60% of patients with OCD respond to currently available pharmacotherapy. Brain stimulation therapies report encouraging results with neuromodulation modalities in treatment resistant OCD. tDCS can act as a potential neuromodulator in treatment resistant OCD. Hypothesis:-In individuals suffering from treatment resistant OCD, application of cathodal tDCS over supplementary motor area (SMA) as an add-on to pharmacotherapy will improve OC symptoms.
